while LX will do it for ~£400. In the past I would have been prepared to pay a premium for flying direct (though not 75%!) but, as my other half pointed out recently, the extra time spent hubbing through ZRH is probably less than the cumulative delays to schedule we can expect from BA. (We are not feeling kindly towards them after a 2 hour delay to NCE last Friday dumped us with an arrival there after 1am

). Plus we get to fly out from LCY instead of schlepping through T5, which has to be worth an hour on the journey time as well.
But don't forget that it is NOT a Bank Holiday weekend in Europe so "normal" pricing applies!
