Avoid row 1 on the 757 -- it's the pits, especially 1C and 1D, which don't even have a cutout for your feet. Legroom is truly abysmal. Row 6 is also to be avoided for its limited recline and proximity to the mini galley behind C/D and lavatory behind A/B. I like row 4 the best. Rows 2 and 3 are OK but noisy, I think, because they are right under a ventilation unit overhead that drones on and on.
