That is a very good point. The short HKG-SIN segment is nice after all that flying. Although, it seems as of late it's easier to confirm upgrades USA-NRT instead of USA-HKG as there's much more frequency. And I'd rather be riding up front across the pond than Asia-SIN. But it's by no means a short hike between NRT and SIN....so many decisions!

Another way of looking at it....NRT is a much nicer airport as a whole--better shops, food, a little more activity....
