We had a wonderful time on Maui at the Wailea. We were on the top floor outside corner of Hale 3. Beautiful large room, beautiful view. We were treated so well there, I just loved it. I swear we could have almost fished from our lanai. The walk to the beach north of the property was no issue for us and the snorkeling was great along the rocks. The properties to the north are nice condos, not another big resort and I liked that too. For the big resorts go south along the path. You will appreciate the more human scale of the Wailea Marriott!
