I've been planning to use a free weekend night offer at the Asheville, NC Renaissance on May 9 and 10, but to my disappointment, I just discovered it's one of three in the chain not participating in the offer. (Why, of all locations, that is true, I have no clue! Is it really on par with the one in Times Square?)

So, now I'm faced with paying 2x the budget for a trip I'm not all that excited about making, but to which I am, nonetheless, committed. The best rate I'm finding is AAA at $179.00. Anyone have a suggestion for finding a better rate?
