Years ago my wife and I had a long connection at CDG after coming off the EZE flight so my wife came prepared with some food, chorizo, salami, cheese, bread etc, to have a snack in case we felt hungry.
Anyway during the terminal transfer we had to go through security and pass our hand luggage through the scanners, she was stopped and asked if she had any sharp objects in her bag.Unbeknown to me she had taken the cutlery off the plane in order to prepare the snack.
It was obvious to all onlookers it was AF branded but the security guy just took the knives and let her keep the rest.
For economy cutlery, they are actually very classy looking with long tapered blue and white striped handles.......pity we don't have the full set though.
