I ALWAYS carry my roller board and a personal item (which is a medium size Kate Spade Tote, with my smaller pocket book inside). I always use the underseat first. In the old days (US), I put my roller board under the seat in front of me, in order to save room, even in Y. Unfortunately not allowed to do that anymore.

I agree with you Karthik, sounds like the guy was unfair. Did this guy use the Overhead???
