Access to this lounge is for those flying J or *Alliance Gold flying Int'l (transatlantic?) US or LH. It is located at the general entrance to the A Terminal gates. This Envoy Lounge is quite nice and way above the general standard offered by US in lounges or anything else for that matter.
I don't know if one can buy a pass, but I am sure many on the US board will have the phone number to the lounge to call and ask.
The other US lounges are roomy, but that is about it. They are above the "mall" between B + C, next to the Envoy Lounge at A, and at the Express terminal F.
If she is mobile and can navigate travel relatively ok, I recommend taking a taxi or the very easy SEPTA train to Center City Philadelphia. Have lunch, walk around Rittenhouse Square, visit the Liberty Bell/ Const. Hall, or go to the Phila Museum of art. Any one of these activities can easily be done in 3.5 hours.
I agree...a quick trip to see the sights in Philly is the only way to go....7 hours in ANY lounge is not my idea of "fun"
