hyperion, unfortunately Row 24 AB and GH are never available for sale on transatlantic flights since these are designated crew rest seats. If for some strange reason you are able to book them they will change your seats when you check in.
GW, thanks for your detailed and clear explalanations. I was indeed able to book 24A on one leg of the flight, but given what you have said, I'd better change it to 24C/24F. I am having my fingers crossed on not getting a wailing baby next to me. (I don't actually mind children or babies much, just the non-stop wailing ones. It happened once when I flew PHL-FRA, it was the worst 7 hours of my life).
