My 15 year old son is travelling as UM from NCE to JFK via CDG. His AF arrives from NCE into CDG at 7:55AM on Sun Aug 31. The AF flight supposedly arrives terminal 2F at CDG. His DL 119 to JFK leaves from 2E at 9:00AM on same day.
Is this too tight? Supposedly 45 minutes is legal connection time. AF personnel will hand him over to DL personnel in CDG. Seem like it should wrk but don't know how far 2E is from 2F.

An hour can be done, but however you care to look at it, it is a tight connection! Believe it or not, the escort will actually tend to slow him down, not speed him up. He will be the last off the plane with the last FA. Then the GA may or may not have some chores to take care of before leaving for the connecting flight. There may even be more than one UM with one escort to take them all.
So what's wrong with the NCE-JFK nonstop flight DL 83 which leaves NCE at 1030AM or so?
