I agree that the 7 hour stop is definitely plenty of time to catch the train downtown for lunch, sightseeing, and shopping. It seems to me that it would be a waste to spend it all in a lounge particularly the RCC. If you definitely don't want to go for any activities and just want to wait it out, the US club would be the better option.
I couldn't agree more. The PHL RCC is very very very small. It would be a complete waste of $50. The US club is spacious. They will have food (deli meats, cheeses, bread, fresh fruit, etc) and drinks (alc and non-alc). I have no idea if the US club has one day passes, etc.
