We sure are getting a lot of great reminders about useful links but none of these do in full what I am talking about. On a single page I could see every single one of the different fare codes and fare amounts that, for example, DL had on a particular date from one specific city to another. There may have been 10 to 20 different DL fares listed on one page showing every single one of the allowable fare codes between those cities on that departure date. They may not have all been available at that time on whatever specific flight I wanted to check out but the page gave me the full range of POSSIBLE fares on that route at that time and then it was up to me to call the airline to see if a particular fare/fare code was still available. The reason I would love to find the site again is that it made it easy to call the airline and ask for a specific fare code knowing that I had the same information the CSA had but might not bother to check for if he/she was too busy or not motivated to do so. For example, I might call and ask for the best fare from point A to point B on a certain date and be quoted one of the fares and fare codes I was looking at on the web site page in front of me. If I saw a better fare listed on my page with the same or other accceptable conditions/restrictions I might say "Oh, darn. I was hoping the VUPxxxxxx fare or the QORxxxxx fare might be available then.", the CSA might check again and, golly gee, darned if that "better" fare was not available after all. It didn't happen all the time but sometimes it was valuable info to have. There may be other ways to accomplish the same purpose with one or more of the links above like the KVS tool which I find incredibly valuable but hard to figure out for the type of inclusive, airline-specific, top-to-bottom fares codes listing info I describe above. I thnk that I originally found out about the site I referenced via some FT info so there must be a few of us old fogies who would remember it. Boy, am I feeling ancient.
