Yes, I will be in Cairo until May 23rd. I arrive there on May 2nd. (Check out the FT Marriott Meeting Stickie thread for which hotel I will be in while you are there.) So if you want to have dinner or something, PM me.

In Cairo, the Egyptian Museum, the Great Pyramids (and the Sphinx), the Flea market (Hana-Kalili or however it is spelled), if you can, you might try a dinner cruise on the Nile, the Citidel. If you are into church history, there are a number of old Mosques you can visit. Also, there are a number of Orthodox Christian churches that have been built where Jesus and the Holy family supposedly lived and visited while they were hiding in Egypt. Actually, if you have an extra day, you might think about taking a train ride up to Alexandria and visiting around there for a day. There are some nice sites there and Alexandria is a very different city than Cairo. (Actually, I suspect all of Egypt is different than Cairo.)
