What you need to beware of is the fact that any delay through customs and immi (which shouldn't happen, but always can), will result in your having hours and hours of traffic back into town.
Stevenshev - We are headed for upstate NY and need to get onto I-80. Would going through the Bronx and the north of Manhattan be better or is it pretty much bad news after a certain morning hour?
