As an experiment, in view of the above very interesting examples, I decided to ask the UA-OZ website for ticket price LAX-SYD-LAX on October 10/20. And I planned to compare that with the US website for same route, same dates.

However, it has timed out THREE times on the former. Appreciate if someone else could try and report the response. And who knows what some of these fares would price at via the Argetnina or Brazil sites, both with a currency even worse (odd as that sounds!) than the $OZ.
