All D seats are my favorite in Y... I almost always log on with about 5-24 hours to go, and switch to a D with no E reserved, and it works out more often then not that I have plenty of width with no one next to me.

RDUWanderer, You weren't flying home from LAX last week were you? I was in 4E and someone wanted to switch me for 3F to be with their SO. I unfortunately had to decline the request, as 3F does not have enough room for my legs.
