I avoid 3EF if possible, as they feel more restricted and have no underseat stowage (often, you can hear the cockpit annunciator if you are seated here.)

I prefer to avoid row 6 as it is often close to an infant vocalizing problems with ear clearing, etc. Of course, aa.com always assigns my seat in row 6, but knowing this I change it immediately.
