Second, anyone with even the slightest knowledge of Fiji knows that there is a big difference between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, not to talk about all the other islands in Fiji. A statement like "Its definitely more interesting, with much nicer people and less touristy than Fiji" is not helpful to anyone. Just my 2 cents
No offence, but I totally disagree. The OP has posted this in the Starwood forum because he wants to stay in a Starwood hotel in the Pacific. I'm saying that ones exist for his purposes (diving) in Vanuatu and New Caledonia but that all three Fiji resorts are basically golf and swimming pool destinations.

As for Westin Fiji's bathrooms, no, they have tried to install the entire (wonderful) bathroom from the Westin SYD/MEL/AKL, but without considering that water flows into a shower drain if the shower floor is below the bathroom floor but not if they are at the same level.

I agree with the other post. My favoured Pacific Starwoods are in Bora Bora and New Caledonia but if you want to burn Star Alliance miles fly to Auckland on Air NZ and buy a separate ticket to Vanuatu.

As for Starwood Privilege, the link is

privilege.starwood.com, with no www prefix.
