Different Levels of Membership Rewards Explained, Corporate Card enrollment question

If there is a thread already on it, please point me to it, as search failed me.

I saw that there are different levels of Membership Rewards (Express, MR, First). The website does little to explain the differences besides which cards are eligible for what level.

Aside from the differences in the cards itself (and the associated fees), what are the differences in the different levels for earning and redeeming points? AFAIK, you still get 1 point per eligible dollar spent for most purchases on all cards. And you can spend them at the mall or shopAmex at the same value regardless of the card.

The other thing is the Book Travel Online and Award Travel which is listed as premium benefit. How is this different than Pay with points when booking through Amex Travel?

For Award Travel, it means transferring points to FF points to airlines? AA is no longer eligible?

Basically, I am not sure what an Express Level member is losing by not having any of the other cards (outside of the additional card benefits).

I have a Blue card which is enrolled in Membership Rewards but I do not see Express anywhere after I log into my account. I was a member of Gold Card which was linked to this Blue Card when I first started. But, I have canceled the Gold Card, and my Blue Card is still with the same account number. Is this a loophole that my level has been dropped to Express or I just dont notice it?

Also, I have a Corporate Card from Amex, which I do not see in the list of eligible cards to link to my existing account. From the website, it shows that it is eligible for the regular MR membership, so I can call and get it enrolled? Looks like there is a $40 annual fee for it, which is worth it, but any hints/tips/tricks? I do not currently pay an annual fee for my Blue Card.

Thanks for all your help!
