I realize parents may elect to travel with babies. My concern arises when I have paid a good sum for the comfort and peace in business class, and have the experience ruined by a crying baby. It is hard to work, sleep or enjoy a meal when a baby is uncomfortable, crying and crying making everyone else in the immediate area acutely aware of their distress. My worst flight was a trans pac in business with a couple in 2 seats holding their infant for 12 hours in the row behind me.

When flying coach I am in the back of the bus anyway and expect a chaotic flight, but in a premium class of service I expect a little serenity.

I offer no easy solution. A designated baby area might work. Flying in Y might be less burdensome for the other passengers. Please consider the other passengers on your flight. Thanks and enjoy your flight.
