For the Galleria/Addison area for Thursday, I'm thinking of one of the following:

* Grand Lux Cafe (it's sort of a "chain" because its the higher concept from Cheesecake Factor but there are only a couple of them - and despite my normal HATRED of the national chains, I've had nothing but great meals here) - outside the Galleria on the tollway side

* Mi Cocina (local chain, but in my opinion, some of the best Mexican around) - inside the Galleria (down by ice rink)

I'm not as familiar with the "bar" scene up in Addison. I know that BJ's (a chain) has pretty darned good food and a fairly lively bar scene - but we'd probably have to start a bit early to get a table. SushiSamba has a good scene as do several of the steakhouses - but not sure what the expense account vs. reasonable mark is.
