I'm on IAD-SFO today. Departs 4.49PM and boarding starts at 4.19. I was very early at the gate at 3.40 and the first big guy stands on the red carpet for boarding. A wopping 40 minutes before boarding and 70 minutes before take off? Not sure how long he's been standing there? I, myself, am instead enjoying a Gin Tonic in the RCC right now (and free internet) since my upgrade will not clear...

Anyhow, Is this a new World Record? Or just a domestic record?
