Have you tried AA's 757 service to Hawaii? What does AA feed you on any of their Hawaii flights? I'm pretty sure it's not a four course meal with four entree choices. What kind of in-flight entertainment does AA provide to Hawaii? How about lounge access? AA only flies its international business class seats to Hawaii because it pretty much has to on most of the routes. I guess you weren't around 5 or so years ago when AA had a sub-fleet of 763s just for Hawaii with regular domestic first class seats -- an inch wider than coach and < 40" of pitch. Pretty much like every other airline to Hawaii except for...wait for it...Continental.

Do you know something about new seats that we don't?

Just stick with AA, CO doesn't need you.
