Stayed at the Beijing Financial Street a few days ago; had an inexpensive rate but was upgraded to a 2-room suite with Club access (NB for some reason the Club is on the 6th floor and not top floor like it is in most hotels). The suite had a full kitchen area including full-sized fridge, pots, pans, microwave and combination washer/dryer, which was a little bit out of place, but could be used for corporate entertaining (although only a single bathroom which would still requiring going through the bedroom). Oddly enough, there was no minibar in the place you would normally have it in the cabinet, but all the minibar elements were moved to the large fridge and the snacks to drawers.

RA gift a bottle of wine as well as a lace souvenir.

Club was nice, a very extensive breakfast selection, nice service.

It was raining so traffic was a problem getting to the hotel (over 90 minutes) but it only took 40 minutes to return. In the morning, there were no taxis and I was told that there was no way to call a taxi. Other foreigners were stuck; lucky my company had a driver who wasn't too far away.

The ZEN restaurant is very nice; price a bit high for Beijing but where they really gouge you is if you order juices; freshly-squeezed but $15, making them far more expensive than beer or even wine.
