Perhaps if you kept your body out of the aisle she wouldn't bump into it. Pretty simple solution. They most commonly ask this during announcements. She can't bump into you if you're not in the aisle. As for what you do when you walk, how can you really tell? She might think the same thing as you.

As I walked back to the lavatory, I noticed about half the people spilling out into the aisle. These days, it's almost impossible to stay in a Y seat, especially if those in the middle seat want/take a little more room.
It's inconsiderate for the FA to ignore and bump into passengers, though. And I'm willing to bet that quite a few who do it do it on purpose.
