Yes correct ( and AA has International flights from both E and D) and to clarifly further:
a) All AA domestic to AA domestic connections and AA domestic to AA International flights (outbound) can be completed without clearing security.
b) All other flight connections whether International AA to AA domestic or AA to and from any other airline requires clearing security period.
