Well, I'm glad to report an update on my case that is a little more encouraging than yours. I called back to complain about all of the issues I'd experienced and luckily got the U.S. call center and spoke to a supervisor. She looked at the file and said "well, I can see we handled this very badly." I told her I agreed and that I felt a full refund was warranted due to the lateness, poor quality, and aggravation I'd experienced, and she said OK! So I'm going to get my money back (and if I don't, I've got her name, and this was charged to an AmEx so I'd expect them to side with me if it came to that).
Still, I would not use them again in this area.
