I had two different UA GAs at LAS tell me the same thing about why there's no RCC - the county/municipality that owns McCarran wanted to keep people playing slots and shopping, not huddling in the lounges.

And as far as the US Airways club goes, their club is outside of security where, iirc, there are no slot machines. Maybe the issue is with putting a club airside?
