...now that loads are up that is simply not the case, and as fuel prices go up the airlines have great incentive to discriminate against certain tickets...
But if that is the case how does BA know the ticket is an OWE? By all reports CX sees A0 where BA sees A1 so assuming non-OWE A class tickets are sold (something I don't know) BA would be closing the door not just to OWEs, but to other higher revenue A tickets as well. I know POS issues exist but here I seem to get the impression from your post that the discrimination is against a particular type of ticket, instead of a particular class. Or am I reading it wrong?
