I think the answer to the OP's question is that LAS is a leisure destination. The AA clubs are generally in locations with a fare amount of business traffic, and while Las Vegas is getting increasing amounts of business travel, the city is still primarily that for gamblers. Simply put, one of the bean counters ran the numbers and decided that adding a lounge there would cost too much.
