In mid April I traveled to China and stayed five days at the Radisson SAS Beijing.

More precisely it was five full days in Beijing and six nights at the hotel.

It was actually a pretty good hotel. As a SAS Eurobonus Gold card holder I was upgraded to the club floor and given a 2 room suite with club access. The lounge was great.

The health club was also good with gym, indoor swimming pool, tennis and squash courts.

Only negative was they refused to give me SAS Eurobonus points for my stay. I made it clear at booking time and at check-in that I was Eurobonus Gold - in order to receive the points and hopefully the (if available) room upgrade. It was only at check-out that it was first mentioned that my room rate was too cheap to qualify for points earning. I used our standard corportate room rate but that was CNY 20.00/night too cheap apparently! I should have offered to pay the exta CNY 20.00 x 6 nights to get 1,800 EB points (? - if it is 300/night - I'm not sure).

My main reason for selecting this hotel was to earn EB points.
