Background: Flying North America to HKG and then PEK. I usually would buy the ticket in HKG but the new China visa rules require to show an air ticket. So I am thinking of booking a refundable ticket on Air China's web site. When I get to HKG, if I can find something better, I shall just cancel for a refund. I fly business class and fly CA because majority of my travel is with Star Alliance airlines.

Question: Any one able to share experience in booking over CA's web site and how easy is it to change, cancel and refund?
