So random question for the ferry experts: as the border along the 49th parallel runs a good portion west into the water (as depicted on most maps), do the ferries from Tsawwassen detour around the "real border", or does common sense prevail and they take the direct route through US waters? I've always wondered about this... (since common sense is not always prevalent south of the 49th parallel)...
