Flying SEA-FCO-SEA on BA F this September. When we made the award reservations 6 months ago there were no F seats on the LHR-SEA nonstop on the day we wanted to come home.... so we booked via YVR which also created an extra overnight at Vancouver airport.

I have been obsessively checking everyday on BA's website for 2 seats in F on a LHR-SEA flight for the day we wanted....nothing.... until this morning. Out of the blue two seats popped up. Called the partner desk and after a nail-biting 15 minute wait...got thru and snagged the seats for a the normal change fee.

It really does pay to keep checking and checking often....
