Trust me-I am" getting out there a little bit"I have top status at SPG and Hyatt-both of which treat me better.
I have a ton of Marriott points-and I am spendig them.But till they are gone I am involved with Marriott.

Also-why should I leave versus Marriott fixing what is broken within their system?What good does that do for my fellow flyertalkers?None.
So if people do not demand change(actually in this case restoration of a once very good program)then the program continues to spiral downwards and at one point even the "Marriott is good enough for me-love it or leave it"type folks are left with a poor product.

Also,as much as I can find wrong and faultering in Marriott there are some properties which are still worthy of my time and money.And Hyatt/SPG do not have the coverage yet that Marriott does-so sometimes the choice comes down to Hilton(not a fan)ICHG(not a fan)or Marriott(a fan-but one with a voice and a memory)

As much as you would like me to fall into the "love it or leave it"camp for now it just ain't gonna happen.Marriott has fallen from my number one choice of lodging to number three-but they do get my $$$ at times.

So-you are just gonna have to live with me. my opinions ,and my announcements of fault where I find it.Trust me-the "problem"here is not me.
