You are probably right. I just remember switching to AA around 2001 and getting all those upgrade coupons and wondering what to do with them. A co-worker told me about the 2,500 per coupon swap and to cash them in for miles. I may have even did some 500 mile per coupons also. As far as the burden of proof , they just put me thru to someone , they looked at my record and said no problem . Can you still get 500 miles per coupon ? I still have 68 in my account as this thread got me thinking about it.
