I'm dragging the family along on a business trip next week. We need to check one car seat. I was wondering if the counter will have any sort of wrapper that I can put it in so it doesn't get all beaten up through the luggage moving process. I seem to remember seeing them wrap things in plastic before, but I can't swear to it. Is this something I can count on?
I'm flying out of BOS and LAX for this trip, so I'd want to be able to get it wrapped at both of those places.
If not, we can pick up something to cover it, but I was hoping I didn't need to bother.

Get two heavy-duty 30gal garbage bags with the thickest mil you can find (
one for each way), remove from the box, and stuff immediately into a sandwich zip-lock bag (
hasn't opened yet, and they stay small in the zip-lock). If you have to, tie it closed at the airport. You'll use it either way, at you desintation. Just in case they don't have any bags when you get there.
