I did evaluate AA and UA at the beginning of the year and picked UA. But things are changing at both airlines and having flown 100k on UA and almost 50k on AA this I am re-evaluating for next year with full knowledge of both sides.

On hindsight, it would appear that 100k on AA and 50k on UA would have been a wiser choice for flying the remainder of 2002 and 2003. But the question that I am wrestling with is what my decision ought to be for flying in 2003 because I feel that 1K on UA has suffered significantly compared to EXP on AA.
