I believe the bus is dedicated to the run between 2D and the two stops in 2E; given the lack of other stops and the ability to clear outbound immigration in 2D rather than potentially waiting in line in 2E, I would recommend taking the bus for a short connection. There will still be plenty of walking to get from the bus dock through security in 2E.
