I was referring to clearing immigration to leave France, which you would otherwise do in 2E.

My preference usually goes to walking. I am one of the fastest walkers from 2F2 to 2B . On the other hand, for someone who does not know the layout of CDG2 (not that it is a complex itinerary), the 2D-2E bus is the easy solution.
