There is an ATM in the lobby of the Intercotinental -canīt remember what brand , but did accept OS Visa and MC.

About 2 mins walk from the hotel is the Sao Conrado Fashion Mall - a bit of an upmarket shopping mall (although it does have a McDonalds) that will certainly have a couple of ATMīs but I canīt say I went looking for one there.

The Intercontinental also has its own free shuttle that goes to two huge malls - Barra Shopping(just once a day) and Rio Sul via Ipanema and Copacabana (about 6 trips a day)
