So I am about to embark on the joy of T5 for the first time on Thursday. I have to pass through it 3 times over the next week so I am looking for advice.

I’m doing a day return from MAN so Can I print my BP’s from the house before at the OLCI or can this be done from the machines in MAN

I am taking the shuttle down from MAN in the morning so I presume it will be the hot breakfast, to date it has eluded me! Then I have a course in the LHR thistle Hotel which according to their website is a mile away so, can I take a Taxi or will they get F%$£*’d off for a short trip? I could take the Hoppa bus

On the return I will just head straight to the F lounge to enjoy it. I have had a look on FT but can’t find much detail about what’s on offer or indeed in the club galleries. I hope that there is some le belle époque.
(I’m looking forward to seat 2A’s return trip report as it will have lots of detail)

I am with my boss who does no travel so maybe showing all these benefits might get me into trouble with the travel budget. Might try and grabe some food at plane food has anybody tried it?

I will only have so hand baggage so not worried on that front, it is the week after that I care about I taking a week in AGP with my better half, so am routing MAN-LHR-AGP-LGW-MAN a route that I have covered many times before but on GB airways.

So the majority of Q’s are based on my AGP trip.

Currently what is the situation regarding the baggage transfer? Its T5-T5 Will it be ok if its checked trough or would I be better collecting it again and re-checking in LHR.
We have a little over 3 hours to connect so I have plenty of time. We are both Golds so are looking forward to exploring the lounge out?

Before on GB the meal has always been a hot one on route to AGP but that was on GB what am I likely to encounter on board, scones or a salad? It is a 15.40 departure
Again I presume the return at 1pm will be the same yet LGW have the pleasure of preparing my meals. My other half usually pre-orders a fruit meal its very tasty should I order it for her again?

I am looking for to trying a short haul on BA its been a while since I’ve done one as GB covered the majority of euro routes or else its EI back to Ireland. Long haul with BA is the norm.

Thanks guys for the help in advance I am looking forward to trying out the terminal but am hoping that there are no problems. From what I read here it seems to back to the normal T1/T4 experience but with nicer lounges.
