As a relatively new father (7 mos), I really like to use the changing tables. It is much more private. However, on a recent 757 trip, there was no such changing table. The flight attendant said to change on the floor outside the lav, which didn't seem much better than at my seat in terms of cleanliness. If they have changing tables, I will use them. But otherwise, where else is there to change?
I'm with you. I was travelling on a trans-con with the whole clan (wife, 5-year-old, and 1-year-old) in F last month on a 757. I checked the front and back of the plane to make sure ... but no tables. I had no intention on putting the baby on the floor of the bathroom... so I did the unthinkable! Changed the stinky diaper on the seat (with a pad down, of course) in F!
Apologies to those of you in the cabin on that day ... the kid must've been eating Mexican that day.
