If you want a citation, why don't you go to the SCMP website and search for HK Disneyland. Every other article about the place is about how it has underperformed relative to expectations and how disappointing it has been.

Or I can ask anybody who's been there that I know. I have yet to hear anybody who's particularly pleased with the place. The responses range from eh to feh to I'm never going there again. I'm sure that there are some people in HK who like the place, but they appear to be in the distinct minority.
Even more telling than negative stories about HK Disney on SCMP - the main English newspaper in HK - all the Chinese media (newspapers, TV, radio) have been highly critical of HK Disney from Day One, and the negativity has not subsided. (Their new ride "It's a Small World" is opening on 28Apr; we'll have to see what the press will have to say about that.)

Also, all my HK relatives and friends have nothing good to say about it. One exception was a 5 yr-old boy of a Chinese American couple - they have a season pass to both HK Disney and Ocean Park. The boy had consistently liked Ocean Park better but as of last month prefers Disney now.

Well, at least one vote for HK Disney.
