I used to use Mailstreet:

And they currently have a promo with free activation and a free month. Might be worth checking out?
That is close but I don't want my email hosted - I just need to retrieve my email from existing mail services I have.

It's confusing, because all the plans I know of here in the US are "Blackberry Plans" that come with the BIS and browsing included in one plan.
tell me about it! that's what i am used to as well - but over here some of the bug guys have unlimited blackberry plans but their combined voice and blackberry plans don't provide value to me. Plus I am not really certain that "unlimited" includes browsing as well as email or just email.

I found a reseller who provides blackberry service as an add on but then says browsing is through their data and thus subject to the charges for data.

I think I can configure the APN to the BIS APN rather than the data APN (thereby not browsing using their data plan) - but need to do some more research.
