Those IDB fees double to $400/$800 - On May 16th, I believe, since DOT said the change would go into effect in 30 days.

But anyhow, as this isn't an IDB, here's what their terms say. They'll provide food vouchers when flights are canceled or delayed for 4 hours or more during normal meal times. You also get a hotel if the delay lasts overnight. All of this falls under the "within US Airways control" clause of course, meaning no ATC, weather or other uncontrollable delays and cancellations.

Kills me that cancellations and lengthy delays that airlines are responsible for usually don't automatically involve cash or vouchers yet IDB's are cash $200/$400, soon to be $400/$800.

Speaking of IDB - according to the terms on US' website, it's "not more than $400" regardless of domestic or international. Let's see how quickly they update to comply with the new DOT IDB rules.
