I find it best not to draw too many comparisons to things in my home country. IMO, this is another reason why so many Americans come across as arrogant and snobbish. It smacks of grandiosity when a traveler says "back in the States the theme parks are much better." I always try to go above and beyond to be courteous to others, especially while I'm visiting their country. It's a nice way to show that being from wealthy nations doesn't mean we have to be cocky a**holes.

They also tend to make too many nation-centric assumptions about the rest of the world. Neither
christep nor I are "Americans". We're transplanted local boys expressing the general mood here in HK about this vaunted HK Disney.
