Some folks in Manila think Enchanted Kingdom is wonderful. By US standards it isn't even on par with Dollywood, let alone Disney. I guess "raving" isn't the correct term. To avoid further dissection of my post I will simply say the advertising for the park has generated interest in Philippines and other parts of SE Asia, warranted or not.

In addition, I am only stating an opinion based on what I've heard. I have yet to visit HK Disney but when I do it will be with an open mind. I find it best not to draw too many comparisons to things in my home country. IMO, this is another reason why so many Americans come across as arrogant and snobbish. It smacks of grandiosity when a traveler says "back in the States the theme parks are much better." I always try to go above and beyond to be courteous to others, especially while I'm visiting their country. It's a nice way to show that being from wealthy nations doesn't mean we have to be cocky a**holes.
