In Manila and other parts of Philippines there is a regular bombardment of promotional material for HKD. Most of the people (Asians) I've spoken with have enjoyed it. When someone has never visited a Western theme park it is possible they might find it enjoyable. Comparing HKD to US Disney is like apples and oranges.

Some folks in Manila think Enchanted Kingdom is wonderful. By US standards it isn't even on par with Dollywood, let alone Disney. I guess "raving" isn't the correct term. To avoid further dissection of my post I will simply say the advertising for the park has generated interest in Philippines and other parts of SE Asia, warranted or not.
