Are you sure? Are you absolutely certain that this is what you saw? If so, this is so dangerous that it beggars belief. You should report the incident to the airline and to the FAA. Whoever was in command of the flight should be grounded.
Completely agree. Still can't believe I have just read this thread! In fact I would even send it certified post.
In respect to the food issue, I have unfortunately been on flights were food also has not been loaded and can assure you that this is not just restricted to IB but many other OW carriers.
